In continuation of preparation for the year 2020 budget, the second round of the Ogun State town hall meeting for Ogun West Senatorial District will hold on Wednesday, October 16, 2019.
A release signed by Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Mr. Kunle Somorin, stated that the venue of the meeting is the Yewa Frontier Hotel and Resort, Ilaro by 1pm prompt.
It added that, the event would avail the people in the area, an opportunity to rub minds with government on their basic needs and ensure they were captured in the 2020 budget.
The 2020 budget, according to the release was to prioritise projects required to fulfil the "Building Our Future Together" Agenda and enable strategic allocation of resources to projects and programmes that would have positive impact on the citizens.
Somorin in the release further stated that, all officers from the post of Assistant Director and above in the State’s Public Service and representatives of different interest groups across the State, including Traditional, Religious and Political Leaders, Trade and Market Associations, Professional Bodies, Civil Society Groups, Student Unions are also expected at the meeting.
All participants are to be seated by 12noon.
