OGUN @ 45: MONARCH, RELIGIOUS LEADER EXTOL ABIODUN'S GIANT STRIDES
As Ogun State celebrates her 45th anniversary, the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has been given a pat on the back for the giant strides, since the inception of his administration
The commendation was given by the Dagburewe of Idowa, Oba Yinusa Adekoya and the Chief Imam of Ijebuland, Alhaji Muftaudeen Ayanbadejo, during a chat with OGIS in Ijebu-Ode.
Speaking during the interview, the Dagburewe said "We are experiencing what I term modern Ogun State. The projects that the Governor and his cabinet members are embarking upon, especially the reconstruction of long abandoned Ijebu-Ode-Epe road, is commendable. Also, the housing initiative has been massive, as well as the palliative work on our roads recently done at Idowa".
Oba Adekoya described the leadership qualities of the Governor, as exceptional, affirming that Ogun State is moving forward.
On his part, Alhaji Ayanbadejo expressed satisfaction at the rate of development, since the creation of Ogun State in 1976, saying the present era of Prince Dapo Abiodun is excellent.
"His infrastructural development strides has cut across all parts of the State. If we are witnessing this kind of development, I can assure you that the State will continue to advance", the Chief Imam said.
