"Every competitive endeavour produces winners and losers but competition within a Political Party produces everyone as WINNERS", so Congratulations to all of us as winners. While trying to contribute meaningfully to the progress of our people in various ways, many individuals approach this endeavour from different angles and as such, EVERYONE who aspires to lead our people deserve to be praised for we all have a common purpose, conceived from different perspectives; advancing the course of our people.
In this regard, I want to sincerely appreciate our amiable Leader, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR for allowing democratic values, principles and ethos throughout the process leading to my emergence as the Chairmanship Candidate of our dear Party, the APC. Only leaders of such candour can take such bold steps without sentiments, no wonder his performance as a Governor has been unparalleled. Thanks, Your Excellency.
In no small measure, I am eternally grateful to our leaders at the State and Senatorial Level who have been working day and night to strengthen our party and mobilize greatly for her success.
To the Party Leadership at the State Level, I have come cap in hand as you work harder to build a formidable, virile and unbeatable party, may your sacrifices never go unrewarded. Your sleepless days and nights are paying off for better and stronger democracy, more power to your elbows.

In Ipokia Local Government and beyond, several leaders deserve my eternal appreciation especially our Leader, Chief Babajide Titus (The Asiwaju of Ipokia Kingdom), Otunba Akeem Adigun (Socopao), and many others I can't exhaustively mention here. I can't pay you in Naira and Kobo but I will definitely do that in terms of development projects across our 12 Wards.
Our party men, supporters and media team have been so wonderful in their unhidden love and solidarity, we can't appreciate you enough. You have really shown that you appreciate the little we could do while serving you as a member of Ipokia LG legislative chamber, your love will forever be treasured. You give us reasons to know that there is no shortcut to ascending higher political ladder except by performance and we are determined to do so much more with your valued supports.
Yesterday was historical in the political history of Ipokia Local Government as as we are overwhelmed with the intimidating and mammoth crowd that welcomed us from Ihumbo down to Ipokia, it was a great homecoming. The fleet of cars, motorcycles, tricycles and multitude of people that welcomed me back from Abeokuta were presidential so to say, my joy overflow. We assure every player that no one will be left behind as we all share the same dream of providing quality leadership for our people. WE ARE ALL WINNERS as party men; no Victor, no vanquish.
We are brothers and sisters and Ipokia needs all of us, collectively and individually.
Finally, the journey is in phases and I seek your continued support in winning the general election slated for July this year with the widest margin ever from the opposition parties. This is our tasks which must be accomplished with collectivism.
Thank you and God bless.
From Hon Wale Agbetokun ONIKOYI, APC Chairmanship Candidate, Ipokia LG.
Onikoyi Omo Dapo; Omo to Yaaayi.
