TRACE, LASTMA, FRSC ADVISES PUBLIC TO OBEY TRAFFIC OFFICERS AS TANKER EXPLODE IN LAGOS
Public have been advised to obey the traffic officers of the TRACE, LASTMA, Police and FRSC as traffic diverted to the other lane inbound Lagos to ease the flow of traffic between Ajegunle and Sango Tollgate along Lagos Abeokuta expressway.
This as a result of a fire incident involving a loaded PMS tanker truck early today at Ajegunle Bus-Stop, Alagbado, on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway while the fire has been stamp out by the Lagos and Ogun State fire service.
According to the report gathered from Ota divisional TRACE "Traffic has affected outbound Lagos as a result of the burnt tank and affected vehicles obstructing the road".
"TRACE operatives are working in collaboration with LASEMA to see that normalcy restored on the axis, as efforts on going to remove all the carcass away from the road".
"However, motoring public are advised to obey the traffic officers on ground (TRACE, LASTMA, FRSC and Papa Oscar) as traffic diverted to the other lane inbound Lagos to ease the flow of traffic between Ajegunle and Sango Tollgate along Lagos Abeokuta expressway".
