Police Arrest Telecommunication Mast Vandal in Lagos, Recover 12 solar batteries, Operational Vehicle

A member of a telecommunication mast vandals has been arrested with 12 solar batteries in Lagos.
The suspect, 35-year-old Emmanuel Aaron, was arrested by policemen attached to the Meiran Division on August 17, 2022 while vandalizing a mast in Isoto area of Meiran.
His arrest, according to the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, followed a distress call received by the operatives.
He stated that, on sighting the policemen, other members of the gang took to their heels, adding that Investigation was ongoing to track them down.
For Aaron, Hundeyin said he would be arraigned at the conclusion of investigations.
Hundeyin disclosed that the vandals had successfully loaded the 12 stolen solar batteries in their operational Ford bus marked FKJ 519 YF when the bubble bust.
In his reaction, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, commended residents of the state for always promptly alerting the authorities to suspicious person/happenings, and assured them that the command would not relent in its resolve to continually make the state safe for everyone.
