Ogun So-Safe Corps Arrests Notorious Armed Robber

Ogun State-owned Security outfit, known as Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) Agbara Area Command, with the directive of the State Commander of the agency, Commander Dr Soji Ganzallo, has for over a month been on surveillance, searching who the miscreants disrupting peace of the good people of Atan Area are.

Ganzallo gave his boys in the Area Command two months deadlines to bring the culprits to book.

On Saturday, 3, 2022 at about 22:47hrs, the patrol team of the So-Safe  apprehended two faceless robbery syndicate terrorizing the axis.

They are: Isaac Bankole, a resident who reside behind Yah Lateef Area, Onibuku and Agboola Ahmed, a resident of Orile-Gboko, Lusada Area of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government.

They were arrested while strategizing to rob Sokenu Community Development Association in Atan, Ado-odo/Ota Local Government Area.

In preparation for the planned deadly robbery attack, the culprits robbed an Okada rider of his Bajaj motorbike and instructed him at gun point that he would be with them throughout their operation for easy movement from one place to the other.

Upon their arrest, the robbery syndicate, without any form of torture, confessed to the crime and added that their being an Eye fraternity members gave them the effrontery to strike anytime without the fear of any law enforcement agencies.

Ganzallo further instructed that the So-Safe team in Agbara Area Command under ACC Adebesin Lukmon should intensify coded efforts in getting to the root and the likely places of hibernation of the members of any cult group, using their weapons to unleash terror and threatening the peace of the good citizens of the State.

Items recovered from the suspects are: a Bajaj motorbike marked AYE 009 VW, one cut-to-size locally made pistol, two life cartridges, one ATM Card, one small Itel phone, one Tecno Spark 7 and various types of charms.

The two suspects, their victim and the exhibits found on them have been transfered to the Nigeria Police, Atan Divisional Police Headquarter for further investigation and likely prosecution.
