TRACE BOSS, OGUNYEMI DECORATES 63 NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICERS
The Corps Commander and Chief Executive, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), Commander Olaseni Ogunyemi has decorated 63 newly promoted officers of the Corps with new ranks.
Officers who were decorated include, eight Area Commanders, 12 Deputy Area Commanders, seven Corridor Commanders, 22 Divisional Commanders, 10 Unit Commanders and three Special Squads.
Commander Ogunyemi, while decorating the officers at the Corps Headquarters, Ibara, Abeokuta, said the officers were promoted as a result of their hard work and commitment to service.
Ogunyemi reiterated that the promotion was meant to improve the services of TRACE in carrying out their statutory duties of saving lives and property through the reduction of road crashes, deaths and injuries to the barest minimum.
"Your hard work and commitment to service have not gone unnoticed and this is the reason the State government has deemed it necessary to promote you. Please endeavor to justify the confidence reposed in you", Ogunyemi said.
The Corps Commander charged the officers to see their promotion as a motivation for greater performance, urging them to use their present posts for the upliftment of the Agency.
Two of the decorated officers, the Area Commander 9, Ebunoluwa Akinkunmi, and the Investigation and Prosecuting Officer in the Agency (IPO), Commander Babalola Onasanya appreciated the present administration for the gesture, advising junior officers to make diligence their watchword and be assiduous, committed and dedicated to duties.
