Cleric Writes Book Extolling Tinubu, Plans Free Distribution

OLORUNDARE ENIMOLA, Lagos

Reverend Dr. Freeman O'Freeman, National Coordinator, Global Initiative for Posterity (GIP) and a frontline member of the Bola Tinubu Support Organisation, BTSO in Lagos, has written a 58 page book to extol the virtues of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, a leading presidential Candidate in the 2023 general elections.

Freeman explained that he had gone into the archives to draw out the best of Tinubu's legacies, trailing his trajectory from birth to unearth precious gems which he used concisely to write the book he titled - 'Tinubu We Want'.

Explaining further, Freeman said though he is yet to meet the Asiwaju in person, the book was written to abridge the vast ocean of information available about the person of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he described as a living legend, a colossus of our time, a rallying Titan and a Giant-Shade for all Nigerians.

He said, "Tinubu's family, Academics, working life, and political career were encapsulated in brief to give an easy read to Nigerians, enabling readers to savour the rich and interesting journey of this national trailblazer.

"The book made an inroad into why Jagaban left a boisterous financial career in the private sector to wade into the muddy and sticky waters of politics without a concrete assurance of what awaits him.

"While I also x-rayed his struggles as a rights activist in the NADECO days, his exile, return, contest and election as the legendary Governor of Lagos State," Freeman added.

The author added that, there is a Chapter encasing his achievements as Governor, supposed to be of particular interest and inspiration to every goal-getter, aspiring to make impact in their own chosen fields of endeavour.

While answering questions about the Muslim-Muslim ticket associated with the Asiwaju presidential candidacy which is widely condemned  by Christians across the country, Dr. Freeman said, "The choice of a Muslim as a running mate to Asiwaju is merely a political strategy taken after due diligence, consultation and engagements with stakeholders across board, providing the assurance of winning the coming elections. It is never to demean the Christian faith."

Freeman further revealed that the book is dedicated to the most principled political figures of our time; The Intergrity Group, better known as 'The  G5 Governors' comprising, Wike, Ortom, Ikpeazu, Okezie and Makinde, who against all odds and at the detriment of their political career and personal safety, have  been exemplary, staunchly standing against injustice, prejudice, partiality,  impropriety and outright arrogance in the nation's current political quest to balance up power equitably.

Adding that the book will soon be launched with many dignitaries, stakeholders in the All Progressive Congress, APC and key figures in President Buhari's government expected to attend, "The book will be launched in this month of January with millions of copies to be made freely available to Nigerians across all party affiliations." Dr. Freeman said.
