GOVERNANCE IN OGUN: Reasons why Eleyi must go

An elite group in ogun state called Elite for progress of Ogun has said there are various reasons why the Incubent Governor of Ogun state Prince Dapo Abiodun must not be returned to the government house in this 2003 election.
 "Eleyi" meanng "This Thing" is a Popular Name that the Governor was christened with by Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the APC Campaign Primaries in Abeokuta And has since become a Popular cliche by the people. It has become a Popular lexicon iṅ Southwest Politics.

In a press conference held in Abeokuta, the Group Of Stakeholders including Key Professional, Landlords, Business Community leaders etc rolled out reasons why the Governor is not befitting of a state like Ogun.
Key amongst reasons is that the Governor only became active and Visible only recently when it was Elections Campaign time.
He publicly express that he's not aware of the condition of the Roads at the campaign rally on Elega/Mokola axis and ordered a palliative to ease the suffering of the people after almost four years in Government..
Other reasons listed include,
That he refused completely to continue the legacy projects of the past Government abandoning all Roads and starting new one where he hails from.
. He Built Fire Stations without a single Fire fighter Trucks. In fact the Fire Stations were painted Yellow instead of the Natural and Global accept standard of Red for Fire.
Governor Dapo Abiodun hurriedly Built   an Aeroplane runwayTarmac to land a Plane and Called it Cargo Airport..
No Cargo Shed, No lounge nor office Complex. No single Plane or Cargo has landed after the Jankara Commission. Ogun People are not known for decciet and cover up
The Issues with Civil Servants, Persioners etc continues to linger and the  Government seemingly has no Solution to their plight except dashing them ₦5000 Naira each recently as Election inducement or what can we Call it?.
There are so many deficiencies in this Government that a changed is expected for the once vibrant, active and progressive state like ours to move on.  
Look at all Our roads, look at the condition of Our women, Trade and Commerce, The Economic situation shrouded in secresy. All Not an inspiring condition.
The Incubent Governor has not visited any, we repeat Not a single One of the Media houses belonging to the State, OGTV, OGBC, PRINTING CORP etc since he came into Power almost 4 years ago. How will he know the condition of these abandoned department of government. He is fondly called "ARISE Governor" as he patronize the arise TV Outfit for all his major events coverage.  Abandoning the state owned Media completely.

What will progress this State is for the Incubent Governor to just take a Bow and leave, Chief Kehinde IbukunOla a Landlord and Community development association chairman says.
Ogun has a Standard. Ogun has been progressively developing tremendously before this Government came in. We must move on.
This incompetence must Stop.
