OLOTA URGES MUSLIMS TO UPHOLD  TEACHINGS OF ISLAM

The Awori foremost Monarch, Chairman, Ogun State Awori Obas Forum, Olofin Apesin Olode, Olota of the Paramount and Ancient Otta Awori Kingdom, His Majesty, Oba Professor Adeyemi Abdukabir Obalanlege has rejoiced with Aworis across the globe on the commencement of 2023 Ramadan{1444AH}.

The leading Custodian of the rich Awori traditions and values, in his message, congratulated the Ulamas for witnessing yet another Ramadan on earth. His Majesty urged Muslims to reflect on the teachings of Islam; most especially on the promotion of peace and unity at every occasion to further project the doctrines of Islam.

"As we fast and perform other worships to our creator in this holy month of Ramadan, let us be reminded that it essentially implies that a person observing fast will not only observe abstinence from eating and drinking, but will get into a sublime state of mind in order to develop positive feelings".

Concluding, the symbol of Aworiland charged all Muslims to take the advantage of the Holy Month of Ramadan to pray for the economic revitalisation of the country, most especially the cash crunch facing Nigerians.

Ramadan Mubarak!
