According to the organizer of the event, Olatunji Egbewunmi, the publisher of The Octagon Nig. Magazine stated that the idea of the Symposium as part of this year anniversary and Award ceremony was conceived as a result of the rate insecurity in Nigeria and especially in most of our neighborhood. Also to serve as a means to educate our people how to identify dangers around our community.
