OLOTA DONATES 25 ACRES OF LAND TO NIGERIAN NAVY
The Palace Secretary of the Paramount Ancient Ottaland, Awori Kingdom, Prince Adeyemi Sulaimon Olusesi made the giant strides known to TMnews.
According to him, "The Commanding Officer, Nigerian Navy School Otta, Ogun State, Lt. Cdr Olaife Olaiya received the certificate on Tuesday, 8th August 2023 on behalf of the Nigerian Navy in respect of the 25 Acres of land donated to the Nigerian Navy at Omitoro Oba Ode within the Kingdom on the 9th day of June, 2023 in the presence of high ranking officers of the Nigerian Navy".
"The 25 Acres of land was donated to aid the expansion of the Nigerian Navy Base, and to compliment the efforts of the Government in having a secured society".
"Also, His Majesty assured the Nigerian Navy of the continuous support of the people of Ottaland while he urged them to keep the ball rolling and to be at their best at all time".
"Responding, the Commanding Officer applauded Olofin Apesin Olode for the gesture, and equally on behalf of the Nigerian Navy acknowledged the tremendous support of His Majesty in ensuring smooth running of their operations, among others".
"In the past, Kabiyesi Olota has donated operational vehicles, motorcycles to numerous security outfits including several interventions to ensure the safety of lives and properties in the country".
