A Thanksgiving and Transition Service was held in honour of Pastor (Prince) Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, the Soun-elect of Ogbomoso Land, at the RCCG Jesus House Parish, Washington DC, United States of America, on Sunday, September 3, 2023.

Earlier on Saturday in Nigeria, the Oyo State government formally confirmed his selection as the next Soun and paramount ruler of Ogbomoso Land.

Ogbomoso is the second largest city in Oyo State after the State Capital city Ibadan.
