Reps Member, Omo-Iwa, Launches Scholarship For Indigent Students In Ijebu Central
According to a statement signed by his media Office, no fewer than 200 indigent students from the three Local Governments constituting the federal constituency would benefit from the scholarship scheme.
Hon. Ogunbanwo put the scheme in place to reduce pressure of school fees, cost of books and other expenses on parents of the target students.
According to the statement, the scheme is one of the several interventions the lawmaker had made in the education sector of the constituency since he assumed office.
The statement reads :
Applications are requested from qualified indigent students of Institutions of Higher Learning who desire financial supports.
The Member, House of Representatives for Ijebu-Ode/Odogbolu/Ijebu North East Federal Constituency, HON. OLUFEMI OGUNBANWO (OMO-IWA) is giving educational financial support to 200 indigent students.
APPLICANTS MUST BE
I. A Student of an Higher Institution with at least Second Class Lower Academic Standing or its equivalent in other institutions.
II. An indigene of any of the three (3) Local Government Areas i.e. Ijebu-Ode, Odogbolu and Ijebu North East L.G.A.
III. An indigent student with proof of same
Application to be submitted between Monday 11th December - Friday 22nd December, 2023 at the Constituency Office - No. 108, Ejinrin Road, Opposite St. Anthony Catholic Church, Ijebu-Ode.
