OGUN DCoS ASSURES RESIDENTS OF STEADY DEVELOPMENT

The Deputy Chief of Staff to Ogun State Governor, Dr. Oluwatoyin Taiwo, has assured people of the State that the remaining part of the second term of Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration will witness infrastructural and human-capital development.

Dr. Taiwo gave the assurance in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, while commenting on the recent  Governor Abiodun’s election legal victory by the Supreme Court judgment, maintaining that the State was lucky to have a proactive governor, who had demonstrated competence, responsiveness and hard work at the helm of affairs.

He urged residents to continue to support the present government, noting that, "The first term of Governor Abiodun witnessed a huge success, as many developmental strides were recorded, including legacy road projects, construction of Agro-Cargo Airport, rejuvenation of education and health sectors, prompt promotion of workers, increased agricultural production, among others”.

The Deputy Chief of Staff appreciated God for His divine mercy, protection and favour enjoyed by Prince Abiodun and his supporters while the election litigations lasted, commending the Judiciary for upholding and strengthening the democratic institution.

He maintained that frivolous election litigations such as we witnessed in Ogun State were gimmicks to derail governments noting that Prince Dapo Abiodun remained focused and meticulous in delivering on his promises to the people.

"This second term will record a lot of human capital development as many policies and programs that will have a direct impact on the welfare and wellbeing of our people will be embarked upon."

"The government will also continue its inclusiveness approach to governance by bringing many people on board to benefit from government programs". Dr. Taiwo stressed
