HON. JOHNSON AKOHOMEH AVOSEH RESUMES OFFICE AMIDST FUNFAIR
Workers of Ipokia Local Government today, Wednesday, 20th November, 2024 trooped out en-mass to receive the new Executive Chairman, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh (aka Cornerstone) at the secretariat.
Addressing the staff, Hon. Avoseh commended the staff for the love and affection displayed on his  arrival and in turn promised not to let them down.


Cornerstone, however, affirmed that he is going to work with all and sundry in the Council Area to bring about desired development and that, he, as the Executive Chairman of the Local Government will not limit himself to a particular group but rather will carry everybody along.

He also charged the workers to work hand in hand with his administration by re-dedicating themselves to duties and  to come up with  solutions to challenges facing the Local Government.

The Council Boss also promised the people in the Council Area that his administration will do everything in her reach to meet their yearnings.

In his welcome speech, the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Senapon Emmanuel Pogbe, who was ably represented by Mr. Olatunji Jelili, Director of Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation,  congratulated the Executive Chairman for his succes in the recently conducted Local Government election that took place on Saturday , 16th November, 2024.

He also prayed for God's guidance for him as he assumed office and assured him of workers unflinching support and loyalty to his administration.

Speaking on behalf of the Nigeria  Union of Local Government  Employees (NULGE), Ipokia Local Government chapter, Comrade Gideon Ajanaku congratulated Hon. Avoseh, and prayed for God's guidance as he assumed office and pledged workers support to his administration.

At the event were  the Vice Chairman,   Mrs Olufunmilayo Okewole, all the Twelve Councillors representing the Twelve Wards of the Council Area, all the Directors and Head of Departments together with all staff members of Ipokia Local Government.
