OGUN NUJ BEGINS 2024 PRESS WEEK CELEBRATION
Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council has narrated the line-up events to mark the 2024 press Week of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council TMnews report.
According to the press release signed by him "the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council is set to hold its weeklong Press Week celebration from December 8th to 13th, 2024".
"The event promises to be exciting, with a lineup of activities that will make it an unforgettable experience".
This year's theme is "Unlocking the Potential of Agriculture for Economic Development: The Roles of the Media.
The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, will be the guest of honor, while the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, will be the guest speaker.
Here's a rundown of the activities planned for the week:
- December 8th, 2024: Church Thanksgiving at Victory Life Bible Church, Ajebo Road, Abeokuta (10 am - 12 pm)
- December 9th, 2024: Opening Ceremony and Symposium at Aremo Olusegun Osoba Hall, Iwe Iroyin, Abeokuta (10 am - 3 pm)
- December 10th, 2024: Training and Capacity Building for members at Iwe Iroyin (10 am - 3 pm)
- December 11th, 2024: Fitness Walk starting from Iwe Iroyin Secretariat (7 am)
- December 12th, 2024: Health screening for members and visit to Oba Prison with gifts; Evening hangout with Ogun State House of Assembly members
- December 13th, 2024: Jumat prayers at Nawarudeen Central Mosque; Grand Finale, Dinner, and Awards Night at President Muhammadu Buhari Telemedicine Hall, Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta (6 pm)
