    Biden Hosts Trump at White House Ahead of Inauguration




    The US President, Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden welcomed President-elect, Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, to the White House on January 20, 2025, for a courtesy visit ahead of Trump's inauguration as the 47th US President.

    The Bidens greeted the incoming president and First Lady upon their arrival in Washington, DC. Brief exchanges were made before both couples proceeded inside the White House, marking the ceremonial transition of power.

    Shortly after, the Trumps departed for the US Capitol, where Donald Trump would officially take the oath of office as the nation's next leader.
