Two Arrested for Allegedly Kidnapping Online Vendor in Lagos
Confirming the incident on Monday, the command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the victim was abducted upon arrival at the supposed customer’s residence.
“The victim received an order and proceeded to make the delivery. Upon reaching the location, a man and a woman dragged her inside, stripped her, assaulted her, and took nude photographs,” Hundeyin said.
The suspects then demanded a ransom of N2 million, threatening to release the images if the victim failed to comply. She managed to pay N300,000 before being released but was warned that the images would be leaked if she did not pay the balance.
Following a report to the police, the suspects were tracked and arrested. They are currently in custody as investigations continue.
